ADZU University Research Office Holds 2025 Planning Session guided by newly-crafted ADZU’s Vision and Mission and 5 Years University Strategic Plan.

June 19, 2025 | URO Library

The University Research Office (URO) held its first of two parts planning session on June 19, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the URO Library. Anchored on the University’s Vision and Mission, the URO Operation Plan (OPLAN) for SY 2025-2026 focused on aligning the office’s plans with the university’s strategic goals.

The session brought together URO Staff; Mr Gerald Ebal, Ms Marilyn Miguel, Ms Rigelin Santos, and Ms Aleli Ramillano, led by Ms Perla Ledesma, URO Director. The planning centered on four key directions:

  • Advancing Ignatian Spirituality
  • Dedicated to Holistic Growth and Human Flourishing
  • Zealous in Charting Global Paths
  • United in Purpose and Action

Each of these goals was translated into specific targets and activities from the research programs of URO for School Year 2025–2026. These include efforts to strengthen research engagement, conduct needs assessment to serve as basis for the capacity-building seminars and training initiatives, support faculty and staff research endeavors, and expand the university’s presence through local, national and even global collaborations (external partnerships).  The second part of the planning will be held on July 3, 2025.

The session concluded with a shared commitment to continue supporting transformative research that serves God, country, and community.

Pro Deo et Patria – in the service of God and Country.
