The University Research Office, in collaboration with the Grade School Research Coordinator, Ms Mercibel Fegarido, conducted the Second Kapihan Session for the Grade School faculty research teams. The session was facilitated by Mr Gerald James Ebal and assisted by Ms Rigelin Santos, URO Research Associate and Research Assistant, respectively. The second Kapihan was held on September 19, 2025, from 1:00PM to 4:30PM at Regis Hall, AdZU Grade School Complex.

The workshop aimed to guide faculty research teams in expanding their one-page concept papers into structured proposal drafts. Participants were first provided with input on the key sections of a research proposal. Afterwards, the research teams presented their expanded drafts during the peer feedback session, receiving insights from both peers and the facilitator. The session concluded with opportunities for collaboration and discussions on the next steps toward completing their full proposals.

The Kapihan underscored the importance of continuous mentoring and collaborative workโ€”empowering Grade School faculty members to strengthen their research outputs and contribute meaningfully to the institution’s research culture.
