The University Research Office (URO), in collaboration with the SHS Research Coordinator Ms. Jenalyn Manolis, held a Kapihan Session to the Senior High School faculty member. The session was facilitated by Mr. Gerald James Ebal and assisted by Ms. Rigel Santos, URO Research Associate and Research Assistant, respectively. The first Kapihan was held on August 22, 2025 1:00PM to 4:00PM at the Physics Laboratory, FWS Bldg.
The session guided participants to a brainstorm activity, identifying their interests and ideas based on their unitโs Research Agenda. These ideas could be transformed into a research objectives and questions for possible Research or Action Research Study. Through quick check-ins, idea generation, and peer sharing, they were able to produce concepts and titles during this session.
The Kapihan intends to foster the culture of inquiry and research among teachers and staffโhelping them move from ideas, to structured plans, to a full proposal write-shop.
